Technology masterclass – a practical approach to developing a technology plan that works!

Spend 1 day with the Using Technology Better team unpacking the 7 essential elements every school must address in their technology plans.

It’s not often that Google, Apple and Microsoft will agree, and when they do, we should pay attention.  Google, Apple and Microsoft all agree that there are 7 essential elements every school MUST address if you are to see your plans succeed.

During this 1 day intensive, you will:

  • Gain a thorough understanding of these 7 elements
  • Use our tools and frameworks to evaluate your performance each area and establish your next steps for developing or improving your plan.
  • Develop your strategic goals for each of these elements and have an implementation plan ready to take back to school.
Note: This day has been designed for senior leaders.  Best results will be achieved when the Principal is in attendance.

STEAM Masterclass – developing an authentic STEAM / digital technologies plan

Spend 1 day with the Using Technology Better team unpacking the 9 building blocks for an authentic STEAM / Digital technologies curriculum.

After working with hundreds of schools across Australia and New Zealand, we have created a unique framework for developing authentic learning environments that incorporate STEAM and Digital Technologies, whether this be in specialist classrooms or across the entire school with all staff involved.

During this 1 day intensive you will:

  • Consider your digital technology plan and its effectiveness using our 9 building block framework and tools.
  • Develop your goals and strategic plan with our guidance and support
  • Get hands on with the latest STEM gear
  • Use our frameworks to evaluate each tool’s usefulness in helping you reach these goals.
Note: This day is suitable for teachers and school leaders.

TeachTechPlay Conference Melbourne, will be held at Ivanhoe Grammar School, an independent co-educational school, located in the north-eastern suburb of Melbourne, Victoria, Australia.

Welcome to Ivanhoe Grammar School

Ivanhoe Grammar School has been educating young people since 1915, and while much has changed since our humble beginnings at St James’ Church, Ivanhoe, the philosophy of our founding Headmaster, The Reverend Sydney Buckley, is still at the core of our practices. He believed that academic excellence and the development of individual character were paramount and encouraged a strong ethos of service to others.
